How it works

Whether you need help finding an allied health professional for a temporary or permanent position, Lucida works closely with you to thoroughly understand the assignment and your preferences. We then source and screen only those candidates who meet  your criteria.  Qualified candidates are then presented to you for consideration. Once we have found your candidate(s), we set up interviews and facilitate  any resulting offer of employment. The process is quick, precise, and goal-oriented—all designed to fill your assignment with the best and brightest candidate available.

  1. Assessment - To get started, a Lucida Account Manager works with you to gain an in-depth understanding of your specific candidate requirements, unit description(s), credentialing requirements, and other vital details related to the assignment. .  After this review we develop a customized recruitment plan and service agreement for you. We review this custom agreement with you to ensure that it accurately describes your needs and interests.  
     
  2. Recruitment and Screening Process - After developing a custom agreement, your Account manager will work with you to select candidates in our national pool that match your requirements. A small field of qualifying candidates is then selected for more intense review of clinical experience, skills, references, required documentation and current health certification.
     
  3. Quality Assurance/Compliance – Since quality assurance and compliance is critical, every finalist presented to you is screened using the same exacting compliance standards and checking processes which include drug screens, background checks, two professional reference checks, and license verifications.  All candidates presented are also reviewed by our clinical compliance experts for JCAHO, HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
     
  4. Compensation and Benefits – In consultation with the client, Lucida then negotiates and offers a package of compensation and benefits to the candidate which is highly competitive, ensuring the successful recruitment and placement of only the best and brightest professionals. Benefits include special incentives designed to make sure that the assignment is completed and all parties come to the end of the agreement feeling satisfied. Who knows, you may want to hire this “bright star” again (see #6, below).
     
  5. Performance Monitoring – Once the assignment is underway, Lucida maintains regular contact with the professional. They conduct an ongoing review of his/her performance within your facility to ensure compliance with all performance standards and expectations. We also offer clinical advice and counsel to those individuals seeking additional assistance along the way. It’s all part of our mission to remain proactive in ensuring the satisfaction of both candidate and client alike.
     
  6. Renewal and Permanent Placement – Extending or renewing contracts, or converting a temporary candidate into a permanent employee, are all important measures of success at Lucida. We encourage both our clients and candidates to consider developing a longer-term relationship when the fit is working just right.
