Introduction

Part of Lucida’s “Be Good. Do Good.” mission is to tangibly demonstrate our corporate and personal commitment to good citizenry by giving back to those in need. When we founded Lucida Staffing Group, we also set-up and seed-funded a registered charitable foundation aptly named - The Lucida Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to make annual grants to established charities focused on children’s health, well-being, and education from profits derived from the financial success of Lucida Staffing Group.

Funding Mechanism

Lucida Staffing Group will contribute at least 10% of each year's operating profits to the Foundation. Half of this annual donation will be distributed in the form of grants to IRS approved children-focused charities while the other half will remain in the Foundation to build the principle balance. Lucida Staffing Group will reinvest the rest of the company's annual profit back into the business to stimulate growth and foster even larger donations to the Foundation in subsequent years.

Annual Grant Procedures

The Lucida Foundation provides a unique opportunity for our health professionals, consultants, clients and home-office team members to give back. If you chose to work for (or with) Lucida for a minimum of 39 weeks in a calendar year you'll become eligible to participate in an annual drawing for the ability to direct one of 25 grants, ranging from $250 - $2,500+, to the children's charity of your choice. With the approval of the Foundation's Board, a grant check is sent to the charity in the name of the person who chose it, or, anonymously if preferred. The longer one of our "bright stars" works for or with Lucida, the larger the grants they will be eligible to direct to a favorite charity. Grant procedures provide eligible participants an easy way to give back without taking cash out of their own pockets.
